Noel, No problem! The MONTH function in SQL or ACE returns an integer from 1 to 12, corresponding to Jan to Dec. eg: select month(date_col) mnth from "table" Then in an ACE report, if you wanted to group by month and print results: after group of mnth if mnth = "1" then print "January" else if mnth = "2" then print "February" else etc... This function can be used with any column that is DATE OR DATETIME. BTW, there are other similar functions that manipulate dates: date, day, mdy, weekday, year. Check out the manual.
