I would like to give more resources to a query that is run as a SAS batch job, from a scheduled process. When the job is submitted it runs with only 1 thread and a PDQPRIORITY value is not given. Normally when a user submits a query through another thick-client application, the query is given PDQPRIORITY=25. The database is IDS 9.4.FC3 Any clues?
Have the scheduler run a script that sets PDQPRIORITY then runs the actual task. Art S.
