It's a warning that it can't make a single shared memory segment that
comprises both resident and virtual portions. You on HP? It's nothing
serious, it's just trying to make fewer shared memory segments because of
the crud HP shared memory architecture....

Check under $INFORMIXDIR/release/en_us/0333. There will be a file called
IDS7.3. In there will be the value for SHMBASE which you need to put in
your onconfig file.
