The City of Aurora, the largest Denver suburb, has an opening for a DBA. The DBA is responsible for:: 1. Migrating all systems from 5.x to 7.2 2. Monitoring and tuning of Informix engines 3. Reviewing all new database and query design from developers 4. Designing and implementing a Data Warehouse 5. Implementing Universal Server (1988) We offer a complete benefits package and a wonderful environment. Our DBA generally works 8-5 with flex time available. OT is paid or compensated with comp-time when required, very little OT is required. Our environment includes HP-UX, Novel 4.1, Windows and NT. Development is done with 4GL and Powerbuilder.
