changing HDR dbserver names

IDS 10.00.UC5 on RHEL3 2.4.21 kernel
Is it possible to change the dbserver names used for HDR without
reinitializing HDR?
For example, a while ago I initialized HDR like so:
physical restore of serverB from backup of serverA
onmode -d primary serverB
onmode -d secondary serverA
Now if I want to move the HDR communication to a dedicated network, is there
a way to modify the paired server names from serverA and serverB to
serverA_hdr and serverB_hdr without completely reinitializing HDR by
performing a restore and running the onmode -d primary serverB_hdr and
onmode -d secondary serverA_hdr commands?
serverA and serverB will still exist so I can't simply modify the sqlhosts
move the HDR communications to a different network.
Thanks,
Andrew

serverA & serverB the machines will still exist or serverA & server B the
IDS servers will still exist? If only the machines will still be there, you
just change the sqlhosts entries so the new servers have the same names but
different host machines.
Even if the IDS servers still exists, as long as the new servers don't have
to 'talk' to the old ones, they can have a DBSERVER alias defining the old
names and you can still change the sqlhosts entries on each to point to the
other by the old name.
This is only a problem if two servers with the same name need to speak to
each other or if some clients (meaning specific tasks) need to be able to
see both the old and new servers. (Even different tasks on the same client
box can be fooled this way by using INFORMIXSQLHOSTS to point each to a
different sqlhosts file.)
