onload / onunload

Hi, I try to load a database from a file which I created with onunload. After a few seconds the commando breaks without a error message. No database was created. On the DB-Server I tried with another DB -it worked. Can you help me ? Thanks

You do not specify versions and platforms so here's a guess: You can only onload an onunload file on the same platform and the same Informix version. You cannot use onunload for porting databases you must use dbexport/dbimport. Or if the platforms use binary compatible integers and floats get my ul.ec utility from the IIUG Software Repository it is part of the utils2_ak package. Art S. Kagel
