How can I be sure that all the triggers, contraints, indexes, and scripts will be moved when I migrate to MSSQL if I use the the import data feature in SQL? Will I have to read the scripts off of informix and manually create them in SQL?
If you have a preprocessor that can read your dbschema output file, you will
have all of those items. If the triggers need to be in a separate file, you
can edit your dbschema output file and move those items to a separate
filename.

Yes, this can be done. I use a database design tool called DataArchitect. Firstly re-engineer the informix database and then generate the database sql script for SQL SERVER. It will bring over everything, except the data, but the SQL SERVER data import will be able to take care of this.
