iif2000 webdriver configuration with linux 2.2.14-15mdk

I am looking for some help in coniguring the path for the webdriver on Apache, running on Mandrake 7.0 Linux. Kernel 2.2.14-15mdk. Informix documentation SEEMS to be non-existant. When I run the web application the error log yields the following: webdriver: error in loading shared libraries: libifsql.so: cannot open shared ob ject file: No such file or directory Running the webdriver from the command line works fine, as I have the path set correctly in my Linux environment. In the Web Datablade Admin manual there are a few cryptic messages about having the path defined in web.cnf and httpd.conf. What do these configurations look like? Any other help would be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance, Ted

Basically, you need to ensure that the Apache module can access the Informix shared libraries. For PHP 4, I simply ducked and created symlinks such as: ln -s /usr/informix/9.21.UCx/lib/esql/libifsql.so /usr/lib Alternatively, consider running ldconfig. Alternatively, revise the build to specify the absolute pathnames for the libraries on the link line. Note: I've never tried to install webdriver, so I may be missing some other alternative, and/or barking up the wrong tree altogether. -- Yours, Jonathan Leffler (Jonathan.Leffler@Informix.com) #include <disclaimer.h> Guardian of DBD::Informix v1.00.PC1 -- http://www.perl.com/CPAN "I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it!"
Simple put lines like below into the /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd file.
Make sure that pointed path(s) and web.cnf file have the correct values and
permissions.
Do not forget to add <Location> section into httpd.conf file for EVERY new
mapping you will make.
Hope this helps,

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib:/data/informix/lib:/data/informix/lib/esql; exportLD_LIBRARY_PATH
MI_WEBCONFIG=/home/httpd/html/ifmx-bin/web.cnf; export MI_WEBCONFIG
