Sanjeev, We run IDS 7.23 UC1 on Solaris 2.5.1. Our SM is Legato v5.1 build.103. We backup to a DLT/7000. All things considered, we have not had any problems with this environment. Specific to our environment, there are Solaris patches needed to solve some performance problems we had with DLT/7000.
