RE: 7.22 Performance on HP-UX 10.20

Chad, I have a customer with similar configuration, and the performance is good. Have you tuned your engine ? Is the disk layout correct for your activity?. Is your site an OLTP site? If so, do you have the physical and Logical Logs in your ROOTDBS ?. How many page cleaners ? . I think you should tune your engine and see if performance is improved, and if you use Kernel AIO, check in the release notes to see if there is a kernel parameter you should modifiy so that the Kaio does not become a bottle neck, for example in FTX stratus , we had to modify ( in a customer site ) a parameter to increase the number of simultaneous requests accepted by the Kernel AIO thread.
