From: Serge Rielau <srielau@ca.ibm.com> > >don't you ask some unbiased consultants and contact the salesreps of "unbiased consultants"? Could you define this please? Each team of consultants has their own experiential base which renders them partial, they're only human after all. I've met many, many consultants who hear the word "database" and only see "Oracle", similarly I've met some who only see "Informix" or "SQL Server". Hell, I've even met some who only saw "UniVerse", and how weird is that? :-) >You choice for BI could be entirely different than for e.g. >web-management or OO-Applications. Good point. However, extensibility has scope within all of the above (I'm currently implementing extensibility in a BI environment, which is the last place I would have though of using it!) ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
