Uh, Rav... That's what BUFFERS are for. Ask your DBA about this parameter. The system is designed to do it as best it can within limits of memory configured. Caching caches only works if you have a faster storage medium. You don't. BUFFERS is as good as it gets. Forget trying to outdo the caching algorithm, it's not worthwhile. Between BUFFERS and RAPAGES and RATHRESHOLD (ask DBA about them too...), it's tough to outdo the system facilities.
