Dieter, There is a limit of 1024 bytes on the size of the termcap entry aside from this informix recognises function keys F1 - F36 ie k0 - k9 then kA to kZ. The Informix 4GL - Reference manual Vol 2 has a good section in Appendix I which discusses termcap and terminfo in some depth.
