: Calling program: : RUN "progname.GO progname.4gi arg1" RETURNING val : Called program: : EXIT PROGRAM(value) : Unfortunatly the returned integer value is not the value in the : EXIT PROGRAM(value) The called program: can write out a single line report with a unique name. The name can be USERID and the passed integer value(that was derived from the time). The calling program: would load into a TEMP table. (use WHENEVER ERROR CONTINUE because the report will contain at least one blank line at the end) Then at 2:00am or 3:00am, after getting all this to work right, you can go home. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a new feature in the next release that would cover this? ...anybody want to make a bet? || ======= **** **T* ======= ||John Regep || **** **** ||Store Systems Developement || **** *R** ||Kmart Corporation || =========== ********* =========== ||3100 West Big Beaver || ***A* **** ||Troy, MI 48084 || **** **** || ||=============== *M** **** ===============||uunet!kmart!jregep
