Re: Testing Linux Client

I do not have dbaccess as part of my Client SDK. I have dbaccess on the my
server which I used to verify the server is running correctly. I need to
verify that my Linux client has been set up correctly. I am unsure of how to
do this.

Options:
o Copy dbaccess or dbschema from the server if it is Linux and run it.
o Get and compile Jonathan Leffler's dbaccess replacement sqlcmd and try
that.
o Get my utils2_ak package and compile and try my dbschema replacement
myschema or listdb7 or any of the other utilities in that package.
o Write a little 10 line ESQL/C program to connect to a database on the
server and see what happens.

some more ...
get DBD:Informix and try dbish or a small perl script,
get php4 and try to access the database via php
Peter
get db
