In $INFORMIXDIR/gls/pl_pl (on Mac OS X 10.7.4, using IDS 11.70.FC2), I find the files: 016c.lco 0354.lco 0390.lco 0495.lco 04e2.lco e027.lco e028.lco Using: egrep -i '016c|0390|0495|04e2|e027|e028' $INFORMIXDIR/gls/cm3/registry I find the character sets are: ASCII 364 # 0x016c 8859-2 912 # 0x0390 same as IBM CCSID 912 Latin-2 912 # 0x0390 8859-16 1173 # 0x0495 Latin-10 1173 # 0x0495 east-europe 1250 # 0x04e2 (Microsoft Code Page 1250) CP1250 1250 # 0x04e2 (Microsoft Code Page 1250) CSK 57383 # 0xe027 (Polish code page) mazovia 57384 # 0xe028 (Polish code page) maz 57384 # 0xe028 (Polish code page) You may need to get the ILS (International Language Supplement) to obtain UTF-8 support. -- Jonathan Leffler <jonathan.leffler@gmail.com> #include <disclaimer.h> Guardian of DBD::Informix - v2011.0612 - http://dbi.perl.org "Blessed are we who can laugh at ourselves, for we shall never cease to be amused." --e89a8f2353bb07772904c7bcb5de
