Obnoxio probably thinks it is because the value of current is assigned
when the stored procedure starts and not reevaluated later on in the
stored procedure.
I might actually admit to agreeing with him if that is what he thinks.
Then again, guessing what a clown is thinking can be a dangerous thing.
