I have Informix 7.1x SE Solaris 2.5.1 on SPARC latest Client SDK JDK 1.1.6 I'm having trouble making a connection. Can you point me to documentation? I can run an applet I can get to existing DB directly (just not through JDBC) Classpath includes informix.jar LD_LIBRARY_PATH includes all the shared libraries. Error given is 22% java ExecuteSQL -d informix.api.jdbc.JDBCDriver jdbc:informix-api-direct:database=/fullpath/dbname informix.api.jdbc.JDBCException: XIX000:-329:Database not found or no system permission. SQL State: null I tried running jdbc.sql There were syntax errors in it. I'm not sure from the documentation whether I'm supposed to run it on each DB. Has anyone had similar problems?
