Ok, as much fun as it is to play on this... My current client is running oracle. So I have to use PL/SQL. So here you have this interpretive SQL language. Yet for a looping construct you have an indeterminate loop structure with a conditional exit statement which can be placed anywhere within the code. If you look at any other language of same era, you have better defined looping constructs. (While(), Do(while()), For(), etc ... Sure I can make Oracle's looping structure work, however, that doesn't mean that it is elegant or functional. _________________________________________________________________ Talk now to your Hotmail contacts with Windows Live Messenger. http://clk.atdmt.com/MSN/go/msnnkwme0020000001msn/direct/01/?href=http://get.live.com/messenger/overview
