nsrexecd.exe

HI, can someone help me with this? When I install IDS V9.40 my computer gets allmost freeze. There is one process in task manager which take 99% of my cpu. Process name is nsrexecd.exe. What should I do to prevent this? Thanks everyone who will try to help me.

This is either the ISM or you have Legto Networker installed and running. I have seen this happen when ISM was not configured but was started. The following may have been run: $INFORMIXDIR/bin/ism_startup This process can be killed. Look for running process of ism* or nsr*. $INFORMIXDIR/bin/ism_shutdown Make sure the progam is not called at startup of the system or you will be in this situation again. Eric B.
