Is there any limitation on Stored Procedure

Hi, I've never used Stored Procedure on Informix before. So, I am wondering that is there any limitation on Stored Procedure like Sybase? As my understanding, there are some limitations(I call them bugs) when you use stored procedure on sybase(system 10 or below). 1. You can not write too many lines of code in one stproc. Because there is 64K bytes limitation on Sybase 4.x.(System 10 doesn't have this limitation.) 2. When you create a temp table inside stproc on sybase, the size of the stproc may increase sometimes while you select a large data into the temp table from a large table.(100,000 records). It is useless to drop the temp table. If you use Sybase V4.x(the size can not over 64k), you have to reinstall the stproc everytime when the size exceed 64k. Sybase said this isn't a bug just a limitation and they have fixed it in system 10. I am afraid the temp tables will incease and cause the whole database crashed. Because there is no longer 64k "Warning messages" for each temp tables. I suggest my client to change to Informix. How about Informix? Is there any "limitation" like this in Informix? Thanks in advance! Rgds, James Yen
