Informix support told me the same thing. After lots of followup I have decided that they really don't understand the need for this feature. I posted a similar note and the best suggestion I got was to create another column with the indentical data, but upshifted. Pretty bad in my opinion. I vote for the wheels on the car!!! And to put them on would be time : consuming and costly. : As a new user to Informix, could someone tell me what other basic features : does this software lack? Are there other glaring limitations with Informix. : I have the SQL ver. 4.1.1, SE ver. 5.01.
