Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

I've been monitoring a procedure for performance and the last time I checked
onstat -u I noticed that instead of the normal 15 - 20 locks which aregenerated by the procedure there were over 500 being held. After further
investigation, I found that most of these locks were on the sysprocplan
table.
What is this table for, and why would the session have so many locks for
this table?
Thanks for you help.
