My comments :
=============
After the backup file is too big, you can stop the back-up program by
giving ^C. However the program will not stop and display interrupted...
After that move the logical log forward (onmode -l). This will complete
the last log and the first terminal will come out of the message nnn
(last logical log number) backuped and will come to the prompt.
You are now safe to keep a backup of the logical log file and start the
contineous logical log again.
This will help.
