Cleaning Sqlturbo
Posted in 1994
Netters, We have recently began using PowerSoft products as front-end tools for our Online engine. Issues pertaining to access to database, permissions etc have been understood and addressed. We can successfully work with Power Tools. Problem arises at access termination. Days after client access is terminated we see the corresponding 'sqlturbo' process running on the server. tbstat -u shows these users signed on. tbmode -z <pid> cleans tbstat display but the 'sqlturbo' process refuses to cease. We have to resort to "kill -9" to get rid of the 'sqlturbo' process. This behavior of course is reported to Informix but ..... :-( Any suggestions welcome.
