Hi all, We've recently done an upgrade from 4.1 to Online 5.01 (without the aid of the long-since-vanished installation manual) on SunOS4.1.3, and were unexpectedly confronted with messages about installing/running the license daemon. Not having the manual, we're a bit confused, and processes connecting to the database are generating the message 'Cannot connect to license server' Everything appears to be running OK despite this, but the messages are unnerving and keep the console rather busier than we'd like. I've had a look though the newsgroup archives and have since discovered that the license daemon was a bad idea and was swiftly discarded, only being around for Online 5.01, but not much about how to deal with the pesky thing. Any suggestions on what we need to do to get rid of this message/make it happy would be more than welcome. TIA, Graine Milner gmilner@panews.press.net
