INFORMIX SE Daemon
Did INFORMIX 5.04 have a execsqld daemon to launch ? If not, I can I connect to such server using ODBC ? We've got a critical application which uses INFORMIX 5.04 an a SUN Solaris workstation. We need to access its tables, but it seems the DB server is configired to be accessed only locally. Can anyone help ? Thanks a lot Antonio Lombrano
Yes you need to launch the sqlexecd listener daemon: $INFORMIXDIR/lib/sqlexecd <servicename> Art S.
