The following msg is being observed. The following is also being encountered when attempting to create a SQL Server Linked Server connection using OLEDB. This issue is seen with the 32 bit csdk 3.50 on a w2k3 32 bit box as well. Any help/assistance would be greatly appreciated. Error text from SSIS pkg: Test connection failed because of an error in intializing provider. No error message available, result code: DB_E_ERRORSOCCURRED(0x8004E21) Error text from Linked Server: An exception occured while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch (Microsoft.SqlServer.ConnectionInfo) The OLE DB provider "ifxoledbc" for linked server "<svrname>" reported an error. The provider did not give any info about the error. Cannot initialize the data source object of OLEDB provider "ifxoledbc" for linked server "<svrname>".
