Hi,
You don't *need* support until something goes wrong. If you purchase a
support contract to go with your software license then you have the right
to contact an Informix customer service representative, whose job it is
to help ensure your success with Informix's technology. To learn more
about Informix's support programs you should contact your sales
representative.
You can also find a great deal of information from the web site, by
following the links from http://www.informix.com to "Services & Support".
Among the offerings that Informix has to support its products is a large,
global training program. As there are substantial differences in the local
policies concerning schedule, prices, and availability you would be best
served by checking the web site for training. It is also under the=
"Services
& Support" link, or you can find it by http://www.informix.com/training .
This link contains information about training centers and schedules for
the entire world, as well as details of the certification program, cross-
company training within the industry, and additional information.
