The delete dosn't delete some records

I've got the RHEL4 box with installed IDS10. The result of 'select * from table where table_field = "xxx"' is 690000 rows, for example. But the result of 'delete from table where table_field = "xxx"' is 0 rows. How to resolve this problem?

Run 'update statistics high' and 'oncheck -cID' on that table. Also run 'oncheck -cc' to check the catalog. -Sanjit
