What about the following :
onstat -l (LOGBUFF will be shown here)What log mode on the database (Buffered, Unbuffered, None)
Version of IDS
O/S running on
Are temp tables in use??
Do you have temp dbspaces??
Do you use into temp with no log??
Some of the online log that shows log fill rate and checkpoint rate?
