ESQL/C 7.10 on HPUX v9

I'm having problems running an Informix ESQL/C 7.10 application on HPUX 9.05 & 9.07 talking to a 7.10 server running under Solaris 2.4. I tried the demo programs and got the same result: EXCEPTION 1: SQLSTATE=07003 MESSAGE TEXT: Cursor specification cannot be executed I wrote a simple program that merely connects with an "EXEC SQL CONNECT" statement, then does a simple select without cursors. I get no errors or warnings until I try to close the connection: EXCEPTION 1: SQLSTATE=08003 MESSAGE TEXT: Connection does not exist Both tests and the application work fine under Solaris. We have only the ESQL/C software (with IP/TCP support embedded) so we have no other tools to test the connection. We seem to have the neccessary environment variables and .rhost entries, though. Has anyone else had similar problems with ESQL/C 7.10 on HPUX? -- Mark Freeman Intellicorp
