Locating the rowid index on a fragmented table

Hi family. By now, most of us know how to place the index behind a primary or foreign key constraint in any desired dbspace - by creating the index there first, then creating the constraint that can use that index. I'd like to ALTER FRAGMENT on an already fragmented table and to specify WITH ROWIDS. However, I'd also like to specify which dbspace should hold the rowid-index. Is this even possible? Does the index have a name that can be used in an ALTER FRAGMENT ON INDEX statement? In case of relevance: We have IDS 7.2x, planning an upgrade to 9.2x. Jake, The ROWIDS index is a hidden index. There is no sysindexes record for it. It is ONLY recorded directly in sysfragments with a fragment paralleling each of the table's fragments and an indexname of 'system-rowid', fragtype 'I', and strategy 'T'. There is no wa to ALTER that index or create it independently of the WITH ROWID clause. Art S.
