Hi, : : We have just installed Informix-SE version 6.0 : and are now attempting to get it up and running. : We have followed the installation instructions, : set up the sqlhosts file and set the environment variables. : : When we atttempt to invoke DB-Access, : we get the following messages: : : Could not load program dbaccess : Symbol putmsg in /usr/lib/libtli.a is undefined : Symbol getmsg in /usr/lib/libtli.a is undefined : Could not load library libtli.a[shr.o] : Error was: Exec format error : : We are running AIX 3.2.5 on an RS/6000 25S. : Does anyone know what the problem is? This messages appear if you forget to run 'strload' before running any Informix 6.x product at AIX 3.2.5. See release notes. Bye.
