RE: How to use more than 2GB share memory in Informix?

Under Solaris 2.6 you can go to 3.75. IDS even supports it (undocumented). With XPS, there is no meaningful memory limitation. You can always attach another coserver to use more memory. I'm using 10+GB for my instance here. cheers j. > -----Original Message----- > From: hanna_shaw@my-deja.com [mailto:hanna_shaw@my-deja.com] > Sent: Wednesday, November 22, 2000 11:48 AM > To: informix-list@iiug.org > Subject: How to use more than 2GB share memory in Informix? > > > Hi, > > I know that there is a limit for share memory in Informix.
