Informix, Sun, RAID?

We are configuring database servers using Informix Dynamic Server 7.31 on a Sun Sparc 3500 with solaris 2.6. We want to use RAID to handle the raw disk database space. Unfortunately we are having a bad experience with a third party SCSI RAID where the unix filesystem management works fine, but the Informix raw space gets corrupted. The RAID vendor doesn't seem to have any information about how their product works with Informix. I would like to hear from anyone who has successfully combined Informix, Solaris and RAID. Is the best solution to get the RAID from SUN, or has anyone had luck with 3rd party vendors? Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

KAIO_OFF=1; export KAIO_OFF KAIOOFF1; export KAIOOFF then start online. > >Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ >Before you buy. -- David Williams
