RE: ONBAR Error
Posted in 1997
Hi Timothy!
I think you are using HP-UX, you should execute the following command as =
root:
ln -s /usr/lib/libbsa.sl \\ /usr/lib/ibsad001.sl . ibsad001.sl
The onbar utility and the Informix Kit you installed to communicate with =
your=20
storage manager rely on a shared XBSA library to perform storage =
management tasks for your Informix Database Server. The command above
tells onbar where the XBSA portion of the library exists. Become root on =
the system running onbar and create a symbolic link using
the following command for SOLARIS ln -s /usr/lib/libbsa.so \\ =
/usr/lib/ibsad001.so , AIX ln -s /usr/lib/libbsa.a \\ /usr/lib/ibsad001.a =
or HP-UX ln -s /usr/lib/libbsa.sl \\ /usr/lib/ibsad001.sl .=20
Take Care!

Can not find the file ibsad001.sl in the /usr/lib directory. Where does
this file come from.
Thanks
