But we had similar problem before. Apparently this is not an Informix issue. What we did is to have a clause in dbparm to change Powerbuilder default date format. You can find the information by accessing help and then search on DBParm parameters and supported database interfaces Please also remember that you can change individual datawindow's date format. Chao
