Re: dbexport failed with "Disk space full" message.

I found the dbexport to tape to have a most ridiculous 2GB limit (as per
manual Migration Guide 7.3, p 11-10), since you need to specify the tape
size as one of the command line parameters.

Correct. But you will be asked to insert the next tape and tables may span tapes.
The (crazy) unconvenience is that ona (maybe) 40 GB tape only 2 GB are used.

Am I missing something here ? As I've said in previous posts we've just
upgraded from v4 to 7 , there is a 2GB limit on export to tape but there is
no such limits on exports to disk IMHO. Please tell me if this is mince : )_
