They got it installed didn't they. ;-) You now need to read the release notes. See $INFORMIXDIR/release/*/*/ONLINE7*, or it could be IDS7*. In there you should find these errors and you probably just have to run a mkdev to create the kaio device, but I can't remember of the top of my head.
