Oooh! Oooh! Me too, Mr Kotter :-). I just wrote a java program (jselect) to accept any Informix select SQL and return results with/without titles, and in either tabular, columnar or pipe-delimited format from an Informix database. It uses the Informix JDBC driver, and the source code is available on my website at http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Horizon/9144/cdldb005.html. If any of you find it useful, I will be happy to submit a copy to IIUG. Presumably, you're talking about DB Access. You can use another SQL query tool or find utilities on the IIUG site (www.iiug.org). To answer your other post, you can also find the FAQ there as well. > I hate it when a select field1, field2, field3 output looks in a nice > columnar format, you now need field4, and it goes to one-field-per-line > mode.... > > How to prevent this?
