Why respond to a question when you have > absolutely no clue as to it's answer? Well, Mr Burnore seems to have a problem with my posting. What I will say here is that it is not clear whether Alan is using RDS or I4GL, and if I4GL, whether he has the correct C compiler. I am *still* unaware of a version 4 for DOS (could it be Windows?). At least I had something I believe was a constructive question - a request for more information. Mr Burnore just flamed me and didn't contribute *anything*... So, Alan, could we have more details, please, or have you sorted the problem out, and if so, could you share the solution with us? And Mr Burnore, could we take this whole flame-thing off-line? I don't want to be accused of wasting bandwidth again... Cheers, Spokey the Wheeler------------------------------------------------------------- "Billy Boy" - das aufregend andere kondom!
