Where in the system catalog
Answered: amber (solid confidence) — Gerry Cousins pointed directly at the colattr bit-flag column in SYSCOLUMNS (with a documentation link), the documented way to detect VERCOLS; never explicitly confirmed by Mark.

Which table/column in the system catalog identifies whether a table has VERCOLS? I don't see anything in systables. Is it simply a question of whether the ifx_row_version and ifx_insert_checksum columns exist in syscolumns?
