Sorry, this may be really good for all I know, but I can never take seriously any mail i receive that addresses me as "Dear Friend" (apart from those from my friends, but of course I haven't got any). I've never met you, Mr Seiner, and although I have nothing against you, you're not my friend. Using words and phrases indiscrimately and without really meaning what they say diminshes our language.
