greeting, how do i display a list of records (array form) in realtime mode ? i thought of use a while loop but i need a PROMPT so that user can enter the exit code (without pressing the interrupt key) or prehaps pressing the arrow up/down key to browse and when the time lapsed, the display refresh again. thanks in advance. richard __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? The short answer is that the only "good" key you can capture for your needs is the interrupt, so if that's out you're out of luck. I4GL version 7.3 has a new function fgl_getkey(), that may suit your needs (I don't know if it tracks keystrokes made when the program is not in any of the input modes). -- ======================================================= Dennis J.
