Informix 7.2: Priorities of Database Processes/Users

Hello, I am using an Informix Online Server 7.2 under Windows NT 4.0 Server. When I run a very time-consuming application (for hours), other users cannot work anymore or only with very long response times (> 1 minute). Question: Is it possible to apply priorities to database processes/users while they are running/logged on to reduce the priority and let other processes get a faster reaction? Peter F.

No way. Upgrade and upgrade hardware only.
