NT Services for Ontape

Good afternoon one and all. IDS 7.31.TC5 NT 4.0 SP 5 Dell PowerEdge Quad PIII 500 processors 1GB RAM 90GB Disk (5 x 9GB Mirrored) You know how it is, you configure everything and then someone throws a curve ball !!! Basically, I would like to have the control over my logical log archives such that I can start and stop continuous archiving (using ontape) through an NT service. I have looked at the NT resource kit at instsrv and srvany but these don't appear to do what I am looking for. I have successfully created a script that, when executed from the command line starts logging and continues until the batch file is killed. Is it possible to configure a service that does the same thing, and allows me to stop and start the continuous archiving of the logs from the control panel/services icon ???
