Actually - one that retrives a single table could be useful:
create view custall (cust_no,name,addr,...) as
select * from custhead,addresses,telenumbers,...
where custhead.custno=addresses.custno...
If you wanted to get rid of duplicates (I assume that would be
by customer name) then the first thing is to get a list of
customer names and ids:
select min(custno) mcustno,custname from custall
group by 2 into temp t2;
select * from custall,custno where custno=mcustno
and that should do it...
If you have lots of tables from different databases then
merge them first.
