Blob with informix-cli

I use Informix-cli ODBC driver for store an image into blob field (with ADO object). When i run the command UPDATE, the program generate a run time error (-2147217887). It is possible update a blob field using ADO and Informix-cli ODBC driver? Thanks Andrea
