Hi, I have Caldera 1.3 running kernel 2.0.36 and Linux port of Informix
SE 7.2. Everthing works except after the client exit (such as dbaccess
or 4gl anything that uses "sqlexec" client) the "sqlexec" process will
become zombie and unkillable. Eventually the system is out of process
and the only way to fix it is to reboot or to kill the Database daemon
"sqlexecd." Once I kill the database daemon all the clients "sqlexec"
which was zombied are gone fixed.
Anyone can help me and deeply appreciated.
Thank you.

Go to the IDN web site.
This is the oldest problem in the book and there is (or used to be)
lots of info about in the Linux section and even some in the D4GL
section.
